boost leaks. Afterwards I have a big one, directly under one of the intake runners in the center of the upper plenum. I thought perhaps I messed up the gasket (between upper/lower plenums) upon reinstall, maybe I didnt use a criss-cross torque pattern, etc....so I bought another gasket, pulled the upper plenum again and replaced the gasket and torqued everything down 12-14 ft/lbs IIRC. I still have the same leak in the exact same place. I cant think of any other place than under the lower plenum where the leak can be coming from. The lower plenum has not been touched since the car left the factory so I cant think of any possibility as to why else it would suddenly develop such a big leak. When I pulled the motor, the upper plenum was already off and the sling was bolted directly into the lower plenum, maybe that was the reason?
